hey
yall!
This
has been a pretty busy week, and even a busier p-day! its going to be even more
busy too to i cant take to much time writing! but im going to share some
highlights from my week!
So
anyways, We met this super amazing family this week! Nandi and Larry
Toler! We were just tracting and ran into them. They have both served in the
air force and been all around the world, they met in germany and where married
in sweden for pete sake! haha It was so cool though! We talked to them for like
30 minutes at there door and set up a return appointment, then at the return
appointment we invited them to church and they were like yeah we want to go!
So, sunday rolled around and i went to english church with them and they loved
it! They are super excited to learn more about the church as well! its so Cool!
So basically i now have a testimony that tracting works! it may not always
work, but eventually it does! #Blessed :) Plus, they should be a great blessing
to the english ward here, when we meat english people we teach them for a bit
and then pass them over to the english elders. Hopefully the ward will continue
supporting and loving them, Its super exciting to have investigators at church!
Also
this week we had the coolest and best FHE EVER!!! It was at a members house
(our branch president) and we were able to have our less active Lucia and her
family as well as her boyfriend Alfredo who is our investigator all over! Plus
the sisters had their investigator family over and it was so good! Me and Elder
Bott taught an awesome Restoration review lesson. (we teach it in like 10
minutes and its super powerful. It also involves jenga blocks and the building
of a church out of jenga blocks. its pretty cool haha) then we played this game
with ties where you pass them around and 1 tie you have to tie 1 knot, the
other tie you have to tie 2 knots. When they meet.... that person has to tell a
joke or sing or dance or just do something funny! super fun! Then we had cake
and icecream. It was such a success for all of the familys there! :)
In
addition ive been feeling way better this week!! Last week i was very sick all
week with a bad cold, but luckily ive been able to recover 100% and get back to
working as hard as ever!
Anyways,
i want to share this video with yall, its kind of a summary of the life of
christ, and as we approach this easter season i just wanted to share a little
bit about the savior and his teachings. He did so much for us, he taught us
what love truly is, he taught us how to serve, he taught us his true gospel, he
set up his true church now restored to the earth. Through Christ we can all be
saved, and because of him we can be joyful and peaceful, forever. I want you
all to know how much i truly love my savior, he lives and i love him. he did
suffer for all of our sins and he did rise on the third day. He does love each
and every one of us, I am so grateful for him. I encourage everyone to tell
somebody what the savior truly means to them this week,
Love
you all!
heres
the video...
